Our system

The basic principle of our system's operation

All hardware and software components of the satellite-based fleet tracking and vehicle security systems sold by Jármű Kontroll Magyarország Kft. are developed and manufactured in-house, enabling us to provide quick and reliable solutions for any specific customer needs or new features.
The device sends the GPS receiver’s position data, along with data from the peripherals, to the server via a secure VPN connection using a GSM module. The data is organized and stored on the server, where it can be accessed through the website.

How our system works in detail

GPS system

GPS (Global Positioning System), a global positioning system, determines the location of a vehicle equipped with a compatible on-board unit using signals transmitted by satellites orbiting the Earth.

JARKON-BOX, main unit

A compact, energy-efficient (designed to conserve the vehicle’s battery), and reliable device, constructed from high-quality components, is installed in the vehicle. The main components of the vehicle tracking device are: a GPS module (satellite positioning), GSM/GPRS module (communication between the vehicle and the control center), and the control unit. The system’s black box function stores data in internal memory if GSM signal strength temporarily prevents communication. When GSM signal strength is sufficient, the device transmits the stored data to the control center.

Information flow

Thanks to our professional telecommunications partners (Vodafone, Datamobile), we transmit data via a GPRS internet connection. Data transmission between the device and the server takes place over a secure VPN channel that is not accessible from outside.

JARKON server

The service center collects and stores the data recorded by the vehicle tracking units, processes it according to our customers’ specifications, and displays it online, where our customers can view the data in a password-protected environment. The data is accessible only with a password, and archived data may be transferred only to a person designated by the Customer. The reliability of our service provider partner (T-System), the device’s internal memory system, and the duplication of data stored on the server all serve as safeguards against data loss.

User web interface

Our system allows our clients to continuously track their vehicles via the online interface, with updates every minute and an alert function (e.g., if a sensor reading deviates from a preset value).
